MediExcel members can visit any MinuteClinic in California and pay their urgent care copay for their applicable Plan. MediExcel will cover medical services that are urgently needed. These services may include sore and strep throat, sinus infections, ear infections, allergy symptoms, sprains, strains and joint pain, minor cuts, minor burns, and rashes.
Employer Information:
Cross-border health insurance is geared to Mexican nationals and their dependents who work in San Diego and Imperial counties, and the plans spell savings not only for patients, but also for the employers. MediExcel Health Plan may be written alongside any California HMO or PPO with a minimum participation of 1 employee enrolling. Out of state employees not eligible. Product combinations are dependent on the total number of employees enrolled.
