Struggling with high drug costs?

There’s a new way to pay,  month-to-month instead of all at once.

Tap to see how it works ➜

What The Plan Is

The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan lets you

spread your drug costs across the year (Jan–Dec)

Instead of paying for everything at the pharmacy.

No interest. No fees. Voluntary enrollment.

How It Works

You don’t pay at the pharmacy

When you join:

You get a monthly bill from your drug/health plan

Premium stays separate,  billed normally

Perfect for easing those big upfront payments.

Monthly Billing Explained

What you would’ve paid out-of-pocket

You’re billed based on:

Any remaining balance

Payments may change month to month, especially after new prescriptions.

Months left in the year

The Best Part

What you would’ve paid at the pharmacy anyway

You’ll never pay more than:

Even without the plan, the cap still applies!

The Part D annual cap ($2,100 in 2026)

Who Benefits Most

You hit high drug costs early in the year

This plan may be great if:

(Start earlier in the year for more benefit!)

You want smaller monthly payments

Budgeting > paying large amounts upfront

When It Might NOT Be Right

Your annual drug costs are low

You may not benefit if:

You start late in the year (after Sept)

You already get Extra Help / Medicaid / SPAP / PAP

You prefer paying the pharmacy directly
